2007 Skoda Fabia passenger window stuck shut

The passenger side power window on my 57 plate skoda fabia has stuck shut. I've checked the fuses and they're fine so I'm wondering if anyone has a miraculous remedy, I'm a bit reticent about taking the door card off if it might be just a reset job that I 'm not aware of. Any input would be gratefully received.

Sometimes windows do get stuck or the motor sticks try to establish if anything is happening when the switch is pressed ie noises or dash lights dimming, if no noises check fuses, door hinge wiring etc, a code read on the comfort system should also bring up some faults
