From a cold start, top end rattles for 10/15
seconds before it disapears.
Recent service, new oil- proper grade-proper level.
Skoda have examined, not overly concerned.
I am- dont need problems from this motor 50,000 miles later.

no rattles are right , the oil isnt getting to the top end quick enough and eventually it will cause wear , take it back and insist on a better inspection , start another Fabia from cold while your there and point out to them its not the same. it could hydraulic oil lifters or even the oil pump
