Is there a cam belt on my car and if so when should it be changed as it has done 28,000 miles.Or is it a chain on these cars.

depends on the year of the car 28000 is low and usaully they r good for atleast 60k sometimes even 100k but its always to better to be safe than sorry as cambelts breaking can be disasterous, i always change my cambelts if they havent been done in 5-6yrs as altough ist said they r good for x amount of miles i feel thats a long time to be on a car anyway hope this helps
