2006 Seat Leon buzzing/humming sound

after opening the car with the key fob and then opening the door I hear a "buzzing" / "humming" sound which appears to be coming from the drivers side door. This continues for a few seconds. After getting in the car and starting the ignition, the sound starts again. The sound however is continueous. Because of the nature of the sound it is very difficult to pin point the exact location from where it is coming from.

Could be a sticking lock solenoid / actuator ?Might be worthwhile pulling of door trim and spraying linkage , solenoid etc with WD40 .
