2008 Seat Leon lost some gears

I'm after loosing 5th & 6th gears,
All others are working fine,
There was a loud rattle from the gearbox the previous day, but noise was gone yesterday morning...while driving this morning it lost the top 2 gears, it goes into them but nothing... Could this be a linkage or more serious like a rebuild....

DSG gearbox infamous for problems and several updates and in some cases recalls .Probably best to get it scanned .Some models had gearbox oil type change but cant remember what cars were affected .
