Hi need help, just bought a 2008 leon fr and was driving up motorway and engine revs dropped and car stalled, managed to get car home with the rev counter was going up and down the whole way home, got home and car wont start unless I put my foot on the accelerator and as soon as I take it of it stalls again, any ideas would be a great help

Checked for any pipes adrift ,other than that you require a diagnostic check to see if any codes are logged to guide further diagnostic,s.

do a routine check under the bonnet make sure all connections are in tack and do a wobble test on all connections then give the car a try to see what happens other than that have the car scanned to see if any faults are stored in the ecu and really go from there but do check the other things first
