2003 Seat Leon loud grinding noise coming from engine

when i started up my car today it made loud noise like it had no oil in it. after letting it sit for a bit i dipped the oil and all was ok but now when i run it the oil light comes on and it sounds like an old diesel in need of help. can u please help me with this problem thanks andy

BAD BAD BAD mate oil pressure is low or non existant i would not run the engine any more untill you get a mobile mechanic to check the oil pressure or pump
