2008 Seat Altea leaking rear windscreen washer

I have just discovered that the rear windscreen washer is not squirting water, i have added screen wash and the fronts are working fine however when you squirt the water it leaks down behind the rear wheel arch. 2 things is this covered under warranty as the dealership want to charge me 75.00 before i start and can this be fixed myself if so how?

Quite a common fault . Can be caused if pipe frozen up and you try to use the windscreen washer . Usually just means stripping down and refitting hose .

Forgot about warranty question . They will probably say it was caused by you using washer when rear jet was frozen and its caused hose to blow off at joint . Seems to be a fault with other Seat models also , Cupra etc . Try saying it's a known fault with Seats and should be covered by warranty , worth a try .

Quite simple , as it is a known fault with washer hose connections .Often come off when not frozen and in normal use ,hence modification .See example of this below ,

I had this problem last year but my LCR was under warranty so I had Seat take care of it - they fitted a modification kit to the weak link which should stop it happening again!
If you're out of warranty then it may still be worth speaking to your dealer to see if they can supply this part for you.
