2012 Seat Altea glow plug light sometimes flashes, when engine switched off and restarted it stops flashing for a while

The glow plug light goes out after starting but sometimes flashes when travelling.
If I switch off the engine and restart it the flashing stops but sometimes starts again.

You need to get it scanned to see what fault codes are triggering the warning . Could check your brake lights / brake switch as this can cause light to come on also .

Light flashing indicates a fault in the engine management system would get the codes checked first
