2011 Seat Alhambra new brake caliper fitted found other wire issue that prevents handbrake from working

on saturday of this weekend the warning lights were not showing on the dashboard of a seat alhambra reg mv11 xtr however come sunday morning 18/12/22 the aa were called as the dashboard was showing both achecked caliper motor uto warning has come on as red the orange parking sign was illumnated to the aa guy carried out the following tasks on it job described as handbrake not releasing on offside rear he checked and powered caliper motor but not working he was unable to remove bolts he snapped off motorand undid hand brake so the car could move car was taken to the local garage we used today wed 21/12/22 new brake caliper fitted but handbrake still not working as they have idendtified a wiring issue that needs further investgation that still is preventing the handbrake from working correctly as this vechile is a fleet vechile that belongs to a care home
