2004 Rover CityRover engine splutters and seems to be missing when its warmed up

i had one many years ago its down to the coil wot is happing as the car heats up is coil is overheating and cosing a bad contact to the spark plugs

hi thanks for that as i was told its dowm to a electrical misfire on the coils

hi i changed the ingition coil and plug leads and still get the missing but not as bad, its seems that its not getting the petrol and then all of a sudden it runs perfect been told it might have somethink to do with the fuel filter but i haven't a clue where it is on the city rover,any ideals where it is located will help a lot thanks

hi after buying and changing the ingition coil and leaads it still doing the same cutting out and missing so its been put on a dinostic test and its down to the cambelt sensor being faulty

Hi check engine light came on .Diagnostics says coil pack faulted. New coil pack put on but same fault still showing. New plugs and leads but engine missfire on no 2 and 4 cylinders.Been suggested maybe ECU fault and recondotion one could be £400_£500
any ideas what else I could try before spending that amount. Thanks Juin

Hi glad you got sorted out. Im having same problem is the csmbelt sensor expensive and are they easy to source? Thanks
