My car has only done 25,000mls. I had a smell of petrol in when filling up and when turing right.
I was told that the metal petrol filler neck located under rear wing gets rusty with small pin holes. I got a new modified filler neck from Rimmers of Lincoln about £40 problem sorted.
The modifed filler neck comes as a kit in 3 peices filler neck, plastic evaporator, rubber tube. PS mark up tubes to small plastic evaporator, as the new one has only 2 tube fittings not 3.
