i just got a city rover for my partner as it small and easy for her to drive .... i have driven it and notice a sligt missfire wen in a low gear like wen driving if i go in to 4 or 5 i then have to change down ... this is on norm roads but its fine wen driving at norm speed and will throttle away quite quick . i have cleaned the plugs which has made it slightly better. but still there ..is this due to plug breaking down as i notice the plugs were white. lovely car to drive round town . but also notice a smell of petrol and only got quarter of tank so its not filled or over filled ...... thanks

Have a check for any vacuum hoses / pipes leaking or drawing air.

Are you able to do a cylinder balance test, pull off the leads and see if one makes the least difference, then try swapping that plug ,lead injector,to see what,s causing the issue ,air leak,s also a possible,
