NOISY ENGINE

O.K. on ordinary roads but when I open it up on the motorway the engine becomes very noisy and makes an intermittent groaning sound. Also the yellowish figure on the dashboard comes on and stays on whenever I drive the car.

It`s very difficult to diagnose a noise without hearing it. Could be so many things, but as you also have a dash light coming on I would get it looked at asap to avoid any significant damage.
