Car wont unlock with key fob, nor will it start

Yeah if key thob not working then immobiliser still active on car so wont start.Go for simple stuff 1st Poss jus the batt in key thob or even flat car batt? if not might be the key thob circuit board cracked or buttons loose on circuit board,could try repair yourself or There is a website that you can send key thob off to get reconditioned only costs bout £25...sorry u will have to google it though as was year or so since i had to do it.hope this helps
