2005 Rover CityRover fuel problem

had the car serviced ,there no smell of petrol or leaks but only getting about 100 or so miles to full tank 1.4

im no genius but i suppose you make sure there isnt something wrong with the exhaust from the catalyic converter all the way back, holes along the exhaust definitely increase fuel consumption

Check no brakes are red in colour a sign of binding as these days the service times are so tight that the tech,s no longer push pistons back or check brakes sticking on slides.
