Steering wheel/wheel squeaking

hey, i am just experiencing problems with my steering wheel and i really need help! it kept sqeuaking left and right when i turned the steerign wheel, theni toppe dup my steering wheel fluid, it stopped the squeaking when i turned the wheel left but not right......so i then decided to leave a day to see whether it needed to soak up the fluid, i dorve my car yesterday and i ahve found that it doesnt sqeuak when i start to drive but as i have driven aorund for maybe 5-ten minutes the sqeuakign gets worse, and now wheni go over bumps it also gets worse!! please can you help me.

it sounds like the belt is slipping. i would get it checked out at your local garage

Do you have to keep topping up the fluid in the steering fluid tank? I had/have the same problem! The sound is caused by air in the power steering system. It may be that you have a leak somewhere. If it's only started recently get it to a garage QUICK as the steering rack system is expensive to replace new, or quite rare as second user since NO-ONE makes spares for these (as far as I am aware, I'm currently waiting for an e-mail from Tata in India).
