2003 Rover 75 engine cuts out (diesel)

does it restart straight away i had one once that came up with a load of fault codes but it was the wiring loom that runs along the front of the engine try giving this a shake if it dont start whilst someone cranks the key

what work have you had done on the car,are there any fault codes stored?that engine had common faults with the fuel lift pump,fuel tank pump,injectors and high pressure pump,you need to get the car put on testbook and check the fuel pressure on live data
