1999 Rover 75 cutting out/not starting

Hi i start the car first thing starts first turn every morning after about 2-3 miles down the road when i come to a junction and put my foot down on the clutch the revs drop down and stall if i am quick to tap the throttle it wont stall and also through the day it wont start turns over but not firring wait about 10-20 mins then she starts again its doing my head in please can anyone help thanks

check for air/vaccum leaks between air flow meter and inlet manifold even a slight leak can cause this problem.to check run engine on idle spray inlet with wd40 or equiv if revs raise air leak found.also remove idle air control valve clean carbon.check egr valve isnt stuck open.it sounds like yours plays up when moving to 2nd map so iacv very poss
