2003 Rover 75 fuel smell inside car

i've only bought the car a couple of weeks ago and it's been okay untill today when i noticed a smell of petrol in the car, it only seems to be when the heater blower is on. Any ideas what this could be? I would be really grateful for any advice, thanks.

the smell of feul could be coming from any where so all i can suggest is turn the ignition on to prime the pump and have a good look around for any signs of petrol leaks could even be a split breather pipe around the inlet manifold
