After driving ,turn off and lock.on return no gin.lights or any panel lights no ignition power.open and close bonnet and all ok ??

I would check battery terminals and earths , especially engine to body .Might seem strange , but when it happens try giving the instrument cluster a rap with the heel of your hand .
