had head gasket repaired and new radiator and thermostat replaced but car keeps still over heating

Checked to see if rad cooling fan is kicking in o.k ?

fans coming on but can only do about one mile before it over heats

When head gasket was replaced was cyl head checked / pressure tested ?

as far as know it was i left it with him to do at the garage

Normally itemised on invoice as a charge if done , I used to send out for specialised repair and checking .Get a block test carried out and that will tell you if head / gasket still knackered .

I'm wondering if the coolant pump is ok?
they're about as notorious as head gaskets for failing on "K" series engines.
