2002 Rover 75 stiff clutch pedal

I find the clutch pedal stiff on my 75. I have tried other rover 75's and some seem easier than others. Is this problem found all accross the 75 range, can it be that the clutch is due for renual? The milage is 95000 but the car has been the same from 53000.

It could be just how the clutch is but its probably the clutch operating arm thats siezed/stiff in its bushs,
