2003 Rover 75 fuel filter

Fuel filter lower body comes undone from upper body section. Results in loss of pressure. Happened twice. What can be done to prevent the two parts separating?

I have found a solution since posting the problem. A securing clip is availble from Rimmer Brothers Part No. WJC000230 £8 inc P&P. Locates directly under outlet pipe and prevents upper and lower sections moving and eventually coming apart. Evidently the problem is well known.
For Mr. Fixit;- I do mean the fuel filter which is located in the tank, accessed via inspection cover located under the passenger side rear seat cushion. The pump is under driver side.Hope this is helpful to others.
