my key locks and then unlocks the car so i have to lock the car manually is this a key fob problem or central locking

when did the remote last work as normally these will not start unless unlocked with the fob or someone may have overridden the system with what is called the emergency access code that is a 4 digit code that you put in via the drivers door lock

try replacing the fobs battery then re syncronising the fob to the immobiliser.
