Indicators lights not working

my indicators should flash 3 times when i lock my door i have tried opening closing the doors and bonnet my friend said try the control box but is it safe for me to look at and where is it and what does it look like

Check the bonnet switch, which is part of the catch (400 MKII), and is a microswitch with a lever on it.
