just had a really strange noise coming from my engine when the turbo kicks in its like a blowing noise or like a hair-dryer and then the car lacks power I have checked most of the intake pipes they seem fine to me I haven't checked the turbo but I cant get to it. any help or direction would be greatly appreciated thanks

check all intake pipes it sounds like one has popped off.if the intercooler is in the front bumper area check there.if not run car and rev to locate leak.you could have a split pipe or intercooler itself.should be easy to locate if someone else revs car for you.

just started today to get black smoke from exhaust is that the turbo or inter cooler
