check the wiring harness behind centre console to make sure the harness has`nt rubbed through and shorting out on metal bracket,check the earth header has good contact to chassis

Wiper motor fault is usually contact fingers inside wiper motor .Rear wiper could be the usual broken wires on wiring into boot lid .

faults all started over the last week radio first then fan for heater then wipers

Could also see if this applies ,
Rover 25 cig. lighter and heater fuse
The blower motor is a 20 amp fuse number 17 in the passenger compartment fusebox. Also in the engine compartment fuse box fuse link number 10 which is rated 30 amps controls the blower relay/cigar lighter relay and the heated rear window relay.
Could also see if by chance any inline radio fuse fitted somewhere on power feed / back of set ..
