Water leaking

Sounds like water pump .

what if its the leak is coming for down the the belt and that on the drives side

yes the water pump is on the drivers side of car,if the water pump is leaking you will see water dripping from front of engine it is more than likely the water pump.if you remove the timing belt covers you will be able to see for sure if it is pump,thermostat housing,coolant rail,inlet gasket and head gasket are all prone to leaking,best to get a pressure test done to check for any other leaks

thanks i have got it back in the garage now i have showed the bloke who does my car where the leak is coming from so hopefully they wil find what it is. it anit that i have had a new head gasket on it and a new rad and its doing my head in about it thanks again hoefully its over and done with now when i get it back

if you had head done does the head need re tighting after afew hundred miles

alright everyone that commented on the car it was the water pump on the car at last the garage have believe me for a change wel hopefully it has sorted the problem but thanks again for the help

ive just had my rover 25 timing belt done now my water pump has gone do i need to get the timing belt done again.. i only got my timing belt done two weeks ago

I have got water dripping from the front of my engine on a rover 25 1.4 54 reg, when looking down at the engine it looks like its dripping from when the exhausts fit to the engine !! It loos like its more towards the left side of the engine !! Please help thanks !
