2000 Rover 25 losing power

starts ok, when pulling off some times kangaroos some times dont, drives ok for a bit then sudden loss of power, still ticks over, rev the engine with the clutch in and then pull away is ok agan, thrash the nuts off it and it seems ok.

hi there well the first thing i would do is replace the fuel filter as could be a blockage enought to restrict the fuel passing to the engine sounds strange but worth trying this first

just had a realy strange noise coming from my engine when the turbo kicks in on my rover 25 its like a blowing noise and it loses power as well. the car ticks over fine at standstill ive checked some of the intake pipes but they seem fine to me any help or direction would be greatly appreciated thanks
