car has done 18500,serviced in nov 09(about 2500 miles ago!! has started misfiring going up hills or when it is underloaded.Now it has started doing it at speed.Checked the plugs,seem fine and changed the fuel filter literally yesterday,problem still persists.Can anyone please help. Thanks,Ian

not sure how old your car is? check the wiring harness under the throttle body where it goes over the water pipe. normally rub through and earth out. check corroision on plug leads and coils. the rubber bit pulls off. make sure it doesn't split can't get it seperate
where the harness plugs in to the multi plug . normaly the side away from inlet manifold. take air filter top part off then . should be able to see plastic covered loom very close to metal coolant pipe. lift it up wards and look underneath. should be obvious if that is fault. worked on this stuff 4 to many years.
