2004 Rover 25 not starting until jump started then fine for 2 days then same problem

when i start the car it won't always start so i jump start it and then it will run fine for a few days then i get the same problem again i have had the battery charged overnight and i have check the battery and alternator and been told there ine any ideas

it makes an attempt first time then just a clicking sound after

with the info given and you saying the starter clicks that would indicate that the battery is not holding charge very well but you say youve had it checked so the only other thing it could be is the starter but i would replace the battery first as its unlikely to be the starter but worth getting a quote for a starter just incase
