2001 Rover 25 wheel shaking when accelerating, and banging noise when i turn sharper corners slowly.

Car: Rover 25
Year: 2001
Variant: Advantage
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Ive just got in from a 30 minute drive, about 5 mins from home the steering wheel started shaking as i accelerated, I slowed down a lot, accelerated gently and it kept doing this till i pulled over, visually checked the best I could in the dark, couldn't see anything, started the car and the whole way home it drove fine. Also just today my car has started making a strange banging noise from the left side (cant determine if its from front or back) whenever I have to put full lock on the steering wheel or a bit less than full and accelerate. And that's in either direction. Heeeelp!!

First thing to check is wheel nuts and then if o.k get it into garage ASAP to get steering/ suspension / wheel bearings examined . Would not advise using car till checked out .

do as the already mentioned and have it checked out by a garage asap the noise you are getting when turning i would say cv joint is warn out this noise is only heard when cornering but do have this checked out amongst other things checked too
