2001 Rover 25 heater blowing warm

my heater is only blowing warm i cant turn the control down so it starts blowing colder and its only going to the screen all the time its asif the switches are just slippin but when i took to bits the only way i can move them from the back is with a set o pliers so does any1 know what could be wrong ao is it the controls that is wrong

Could be heater control vave Rover 200/25 MGZR Coolant Valve JJB100240.
As for only going to screen , have to see why flap is not moving .

the car just had its heater control valve behind the glove box done last month so dont think it will be that or is thair another one

Check the cable is opening and shutting valve , if in doubt feel hoses in / out of valve .
