When first driving after being cold no power when I put the car in gear

Hi.
First time Ive had an issue with this rover. When I start the car its all well, can rev the engine no problem. When I put the car in first gear and drive the car doesnt have any power when I put my foot down. It stays like this for a few mins then it works fine.
Can any one help/Advise!

HI I just had my rover looked at this morning for the same problem. its caused by a sensor linked to oxygen levels that fire the fuel. you need to get it hooked up to a computer to reset sensor or replace the sensor completely. this will cost approx £60.00 to buy but am not sure of fitting costs. luckily i have a man that can lol. hope this helps :)
