Headgasket and bleeding

i was getting oil in water and over heating ,.ON ROVER 25,,so ive had new head gasket .head presurie test and skim,,,but now the car will not bleed up right the radiator is very hot at top and cold at bottom,, ive tried the bleed nipple,,but no joy,,and the bottom hoose on the rad is cold,,any body can help thanx...DAVE

what you have here is a air lock in the rad system so all i can say is run the car up to temp with the header tank cap removed turn the interior heater on full and have the interior heater set at screen and just run up to temp squeeze the water pipes every few mins which will help water flow keep a eye on the water too and top up as and when required
