Can anyone advise? Central locking stopped working but can use key for driver's door, my problem is I cannot get into the boot. My key won't open it and the boot is stuck fast. My car is due its MOT soon and I need to be able to open the boot. Help please.

check the under bonnet fusebox for a fuse marked cdl central door locking it might have blown. sometimes the cause is the wiring loom that passes from the body to the bootlid (in a small rubber tube divers side near the roof),the wires twist and break in the tube and short causing the fuse to blow
