1998 Rover 200 engine stalls please help

please help my car hasnt been drove for 6 months so i had to recharge battery when i did turn it over it would sometimes start off battery an sometime not like the battery was going flat then i was driving it round for a good half an hour an all of a sudden it lossed power and wouldnt drive but while i pulled over while this was happening engine was still running fine could it be the battery? please help

Your problem is definately the battery. You must always disconnect the battery if the car is stored for any length of time as the cells fail inside. Recalibrate the remote when you replace the battery by unlocking with the key in the door lock and press the lock button 4 times and all will be well.
