1997 Rover 200 cant selct any gears

fitted re-con gearbox. worked perfectly at first but 5 miles down road could not get any gears at all

what engine do you have fitted?check your clutch cable.gear linkage rods have not come loose,did you renew the gearbox oil and a new clutch when you fitted the box?

Check gear linkage set up . Is clutch operating ok ?

replaced with new gear oil. did not replace clutch as it seemed fine. drove about 5 miles before gears stopped working. will not go into gear with engine running or not.
