1999 Rover 200 condensation

Everytime I get into the car it is ice cold and I have loads of condensation on all the windows when I wipe it the water just drips all over the dash. In the boot whatever i put in there just start to moss up under the spare wheel there is a puddle of water. Dunno what to do please help

check your heater is set to air from outside not recirculate.
check there arnt any water leaks check the carpet isnt wet,even check the spare wheel well as any water inside the car will cause condensation

I have the answer to this one as I had the same problem. I would say you've had a rear end impact and this has pushed the back hatch up and back causing the seal on the top of the hatch to lift clear of the bodywork and this allows rain to enter the car and pool in the wheelwell. It's nothing to do with ventilation as a previous reader suggests, it's caused by ambient temp outside the car meeting the hot air inside the car which evaporates, rises to meet cold windows and then mists up. Only solution is jig the hatch down and seals will meet and this will cure the problem.
