2007 Renault Modus car wont start

drove my renault modus 1.5 dci home last week turned car off then went to go out 30 mins later and it would not start it does crank but justs doesnt kick over any ideas what is going on thanks.

If your sure battery is turning the engine fast enough to start , it could be the crank sensor / wiring faulty .
