2005 Renault Modus blower intermittent

Blower heater fan does not run after car ignition switched off and on again. Restarts next morning or sometimes if I go over a bump. Fuses all checked. Replaced resistor pack and switch console - not cured problem. Garage suggests removing fan motor but say it is 2 day job - HELP!
