Left window open in rain / informed by neighbours hassards flashed all night. In the morning started up ok but brake light on warning message and light was showing. Car drove ok but flashers would not go off and would not respond to the button. Disconnected the battery and reconnected and flashers stopped. Overnight informed by neighbours they came on again overnight. Car would not start in the morning / RAC attended and jump start / started the car. He messed around with handbrake and warning disappeared. Hassards stopped / yahoo. He drove away and seconds later flashers came on again. Left overnight at local garage who checked battery which was fine recharged and disconnected hassard unit. All ok . Returned to me for overweek end use. In the morning car sluggish to start and dash now showing passenger airbag disconnected and small spanner light glowing. After 20 min drive and stop start they all disappear and car drives normally. In the morning same process all over. Dont want to waste more money at garage.

You need to get car scanned and see what fault codes are showing .

OK its a renault these cars need the renault clip software to detect and reset problems the whole system is geared for the renault software because its bi directional other scanners can't read all of the problems and certainly can't write to reset .
If you have any skill sets check the wiring in the door where the window was left open then check for water on the floor under the seats ,check the connections to see if there is any water damage in the fuse /relay box as these are prone to this due to bulkhead drains being blocked !
