2004 Renault Modus how do i change front lights bulbs without removing front bumper

you dont need to remove the bumper to replace the bulbs you should be able to gain access to the lights from under the bonnet some items may require being moved to make it easier

i have had the same problem if you have a solution can you let me know. i paid £60 to have the light bulb changed. not only did the front come off the wheel hub had to come off it is a nightmare anyone out there who can advise

Can change front light bulbs under bonnet but access very limited and small hand with double jointed wrist would help! Mine are large and it can be very difficult to get right into back of lamp assembly. Need to persevere and eventually you will get there.

You can gain access by removing the front wheel and liner
I have done mine after being quoted £80 it is a bit fidley
But can be done.

It is far easier to remove the front bumper from the vehicle by removing three bolts on each side by entering from each wheel well and two in the engine bay. Place the vehicle on stands, remove the front wheels, loosen the plastic liners at the top front of the wheel well and pull slightly open. Will find three screws/bolts on each side and two bolt on front valence of engine (under the hood) which must be undone. Move bumper away from front of vehicle and unclip front light wiring harness. Now able to undo headlamps and replace bulbs.
Replacement of front bumper a reverse of procedure.
I replace bulbs in 15 minutes time period
