1998 Renault Megane problem when idling

When the car is started and the engine is cold the idle revs are fine, but when the engine is hot the revs are very low and it's like if the engine is chugging (could be misfiring not sure though). Can anyone help please?

if it is misfiring favourite thing is coilpack,check the spark plugs first tho and replace if required

How would i know if the spark plugs need changing?

Take them out and check for wear on electrodes / gap .

Is there anyway i can check the coil pack?

check all the plugs are sparking

Also if plug not firing should be fouled up / wet .
