1997 Renault Megane engine code

I'm not sure of my engine code. I is along the lines of F?? 82. The middle two characters are badly worn.
Im looking for a new engine and the scrap yard needs the engine code... Any ideas?

refer to your log book as they are clearly marked on there what the engine code will be

If you cannot find it on your log book then post the engine size and chassis number and date of registration and i will post your engine code.

F7R Most Likely if it is a 2.0 Ltr 16v.
