Losing power up hills

2000 Renault Megane 1.6e
Car: Renault Megane
Year: 2000
Variant: 1.6e
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Hi, My car is losing power when driving up even the slightest hill, the rev's are okay and everything is fine on the flat.

My husband was driving it in third gear at about 3500 rev's but just had trouble and the engine sounds louder than normal. This has only just started happening in the last couple of weeks

Any ideas?

Check the vac hose to the map sensor, they somtimes split, have a good look at it you might have to remove the hose from the sensor to get a better look at it.
