Some times ABS and Service light come on and the gears won't change properly in Drive the manual gears work ok , switch off and back on some times gets rid of the problem and it then drives ok with no lights on.

Intermittent faults are a headache to find .Only hope you have is to scan it with suitable equipment and see if any stored fault codes .
