Engine is very loud and making a fast clicking noise. Checked oil, that’s all fine.

Could be an injector clicking ,your garage / mechanic should be able to confirm or not on listening

Thank you, it’s booked in for a full service tomorrow- do you think it could be the tappets? Thought it might need an oil change. I had a mechanic have a look & they said it wasn’t worth fixing, but it still drives perfectly, with no warning lights ?♀️

It really depends on what the noise is , but with your mechanics opinion I would get them to verify what the cause is first before doing any full service .
