when i start car up.the revs clime up on its own. ive put a brand new idle valve on .but dont know how 2 set the valve up

the valve is controlled electronically so you cannot set it up,check you do not have any air leaks and check the hose that runs to the map sensor mounted near bulkhead as these split but you usually get driveability problems if this has happened,also check there is not a big carbon build up where the idle valve tip seats
